10. Household of Faith

10 years ago, we were at the start of committing to each other, to build a "Household of Faith".  For these 10 years, thank you for building it together with me.  And now, I don't think this household is yet complete! However, I believe we have built a good foundation of it on the foundation of Christ. Thanks our God for HIS fruitful provide, especially the 2 wonderful girls for us to take care. And for the next 10 years, let's put the wall up, and continue to build this "Household of Faith"!

問題少女之我有冇Birthright

問題少女與爸爸正在食晚飯當中，突然地．．．

SaSa：我有冇Birthright？

爸爸（不大聽清楚地）：乜野Bird fight啊？

SaSa：即係爸爸媽媽死左，我係唔係可以有晒你地所有錢？

爸爸險些噴飯，心裏頓時出現了十幾廿個念頭：
究竟佢係邊到學返黎？
唔通公公婆婆？
唔通新時代電視？
唔通Treehouse？
佢咁講係唔係咒緊我死？
佢咁問係唔係想做浪子回頭故事中的浪子？
唔通佢唔想Share俾妹妹？
唔通佢有心儀男仔問佢借錢？
佢會唔會諗點樣爸爸媽媽會快D死？
我又應該點回應好呢？
唔通學上一輩咁星佢幾巴，鎖佢入房，面壁思過？
定話話俾佢聽爸爸媽媽已經立了遺囑，冇得爭？
定話要教佢點都要同妹妹Share？
最終決定唔好反應咁快．．．

爸爸（詐傻扮懞，假裝溫柔地）：下？你再講多一次？

心水清的媽媽：哦，你係唔係係Kindergarten Bible Discovery聽左關於雅各 Birthright既故事呢？

SaSa：係啊，咁我係唔係有Birthright？

爸爸正想答：（梗係唔係啦，你係長女，唔係長子．．．）

聰明的媽媽：哦，果時陣既rules同而家唔同，你出世先，唔代表可以有晒所有野．

SaSa：點解唔同既？

爸爸又正想答：（女，時代唔同嘛，而家人人平等，要自己去爭取．．．）

聰明的媽媽：你同妹妹都係爸爸媽媽既女女．只要你地聽聽話話，愛神愛人，爸爸媽媽既野都係你同妹妹既．如果爸爸媽媽死左，你要照顧妹妹，妹妹都要照顧你．知唔知道？

SaSa：知道．

Sister's Love

In just a few days, Harmony is about to turn 1 year and a half old (18 months). In these 18 months, it's been a blessing to have such a content and 鬼馬 baby for us to take care, and it's also been a blessing to have SaSa, such a loving and understanding big sister. I've created a slideshow of photos, containing at least 2 photos (with SaSa) of each of Harmony's 18 months. Here is the slideshow with 設計對白：

Harmony's Month 17

For this month (around November), Harmony responded to and followed our instructions/actions/sounds better and better. She also showed that she could remember what she learnt. And her speaking skills improved a lot. Here were the updates of this month:

• She learnt to say 「開, please」, but most of the time, she just said 「開pp, sss」.



• 3 teeth were coming out! It's her #10-#12.



• She could follow a lot what we tried to teach her to sound.



• She remembered what some objects are called, and could say them correctly. For example, when she saw her duck toy, she would say "Quack quack". When she saw a book, she would say 「書書」.



• She knew how to say "E-I-E-I-O" in the "Old McDonald Has a Farm." song, and happily said that over and over.




• She knew how to say "Row, row" when we sang "Row, row, row a boat" song during bathtime.



• She would say "Hurah" when she listened to the "The ants go marching" song.



• Sometimes when she listened to music, she would lift up both hands, and turned to dance.



• She got a cold and had a fever for a few days, and had her first ever antibiotic.



• She had a more serious nose bleed at 1 night, probably due to the dry weather and coughing.




• She liked to help to push buttons.



• When we picked her up from Auntie Grace, she would find her street shoes, sat down, and waited for us to change her shoes. After that, she would be happy to put her inside shoes back. And when we put her jacket on, she would be happy to say "bye, bye".



• She loved to point to her and our ears and heads and said 「耳耳」 and 「頭頭」． She could follow us to say other parts, but seldom pointed to them on her own.



• She sometimes mimicked what SaSa was doing and voicing out, especially when SaSa shouted "Surprise!" and "Waaa". Harmony happily followed to shout.
